Just finished Week 1 of an 8 Week Teleseminar on Greater Health, Wealth and Relationships.
All of these things really are one, if we are healthy, we are wealthy, if we have great relationships, we are wealthy and if we are wealthy then we have great health and relationships.
Tonight was about Goals and Water
With creating goals, get SPECIFIC!
What exactly is your goal?
Why do you want to accomplish this goal?
When do you want to accomplish the goal by?
How will you meet these goals?
What are the little goals that need to be set up in order to get you to the big goal? School is a great example of this. You sign up for a course, start at the beginning, take all these steps, have deadlines, papers and projects to get done, and then the final achievement… Graduation! See your goals as a template for education, what are the first steps… If you are learning drafting for instance, the first thing is to learn how to draw a strait line etc… You do the baby steps to then get you to that big architectural project.
If losing weight is your goal:
1. Get clear on how much weight do you want to lose.
2. What is the FIRST thing you have to start doing in order to start losing weight? (Get a coach?)
3. What is going to keep you on track?
4. Who is there to support you?
5. What might get in the way (by being prepared for this, then you can write out ways in order to get through these obstacles)?
6. PUT IT ON THE CALENDAR! If you feel you need to exercise in order to lose weight, schedule it on the calendar.
7. Celebrate the little successes so that you can start feeling good now.
Action step: Do this, don’t just read it. Reading it will not get you towards your goals. Writing it, planning it and seeing it, believing it WILL get you there. Put the first step you need to do on the calendar!
Set yourself up for success, start with little goals you KNOW you can accomplish and then get bigger from there.
Water is the source of all life. Your brain is 90% water, your Blood is 83% water!
Are you drinking half your body weight in ounces a day?
Are you dehydrated?
Signs of Dehydration:
Dry skin, headaches/migraines, tension, muscle cramps, feeling tired, constipation, and even kidney problems, dark urine, thirst, hunger and fatigue.
What to do? Drink pure filted water! 1/2 your body weight in ounces.
Action step: For one week, drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water (not sugary liquids or caffeine, but water)
Hydrating yourself helps:
Lose weight, more energy, boosts metabolism, helps your skin look vibrant and younger, better work out, keeps you healthier, less colds and flu’s, uplifts your moods and has been said to reduce the risk of various diseases, including the big C.
Take action today! Be specific about your goals and drink more water.
Wishing you a beautiful day!
